Care 2 Mind Psychology practice was founded in 2021 by two psychologists Daisy Gamxamus and Emerita Malanguka.
Daisy Gamxamus completed her Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Namibia (UNAM) in 2009 and then obtained her Honours in Psychology at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2013.
Daisy is particularly passionate about helping people suffering from addictions and depression. In line with these passion, she worked on the National Suicide Prevention Campaign in combating the escalating suicide crises in Namibia.

I am passionate about helping people realise their full potential across the lifespan. I am also an internationally certified Addiction Professional.

Emerita Malanguka studied Clinical Psychology at the University of the Western Cape and has a keen interest in industrial psychology. She has worked with large corporates such as NAMDEB and was even invited by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to the UN Cares Programme to educate the UN Staff on the importance of mental health in the workplace. She has also provided insight to the Women in Mining Association of Namibia on maintaining mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2011, also has extensive experience in providing care for individuals suffering from Substance Abuse. She worked on an a 24-week intensive Outpatient Treatment for Adult Substance Abuse (IOP) program rehabilitating adults back into a functional status.
The practice is based in Windhoek and focuses on rebuilding peoples self esteem. With the increasing suicide rates in Namibia, mental health has become paramount. Emerita is particularly passionate about…
